AFTER 19 YEARS, (2006) CHRYSLER REINTRODUCED THE ICONIC DODGE CHARGER 

No one would have ever guessed that Chrysler might one day resurrect the Hemi engine or that 425 horsepower muscle cars would once again be available at the dealerships. But, a series of events led Chrysler to design a new V-8 engine and at the same time create an all new rear wheel drive platform suited for that new engine. The Gen III Hemi was reborn along with the exciting LX platform. 5 Speed rear wheel drive. MOPAR is still king to the automotive world and the tire screeching HEMI rules the streets again.

2007 Dodge Charger R/T (Introduced and built June 2007) - One Off SRT8 Super Bee Clone.  Built in June 2007. Purchased new July 2007. Really powerful. A little over 900 miles on drive train and components since totally updated. This is drive train application number 5. Not even restored - feels brand new. Shifting feels so tight when you let up on the gas in third gear she's still jumping. Unless you have a race track its almost a feels like waste to drive it on on a regular street. A lot of times you'll see a car like this in"Detonator Yellow" and think "ah come on... really - do you really need to be that loud?" You know, when you drive a car like this - you deserve to be paid attention too. Not much vibration on the road, BUT When she starts YOU FEEL IT, YOU HEAR IT, HEADS TURN, SHE'S IN A DEEP OLD SCHOOL LOAP. THE WINDOWS VIBRATE. She's all engine your hearing at the traffic light stop. This is with the cutouts closed too. You observe at a traffic light windows being rolled up. It would be hard to drive and be on a back road. With this kind of responsivenes you'd always be happy driving it.

When you have this extra power you have to stop and reorient yourself and understand how it wants to be driven. The horsepower comes on in a giant rush instead of a smooth pulse. Its like the engine and chassis bolt ahead of you and the body and the interior have to kinda catch up. Gets you in the gut when you enjoy this car. Her name is "Veronica". Wannaplay?
